Trike shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ryota sprawls well. Ryota wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trike gets slowly back to his feet.

Trike closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Trike wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ryota, who protects the arm well.
Ryota is trying to buck Trike off.

Pittman tries to close the distance and clinch but Trike swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL2#

Trike is trying to trip Pittman. He has hold of a leg but Pittman is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Trike persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pittman is striking from the bottom but Trike uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Pittman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trike on the ground.
Trike wants to take a breather but Pittman is having none of it.
Pittman flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Pittman tries to get to full guard but Trike has control of the leg.
Pittman is trying to stand up here but Trike is controlling him well.
Trike seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Pittman is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Trike!

Trike shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ryota is trying to defend but Trike finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Trike will probably get the nod.
