Bruce Gain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharp works over Gain's head and body with a nice combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Money lands a really nice looking cross but Gain seems unphased.
Gain has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Money finds it's way round the side to connect with Gain's head.
Gain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gain goes for a double leg but Teixeira avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Teixeira continues to drive forward.
A little feinted left hand from Teixeira on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Gain's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Teixeira connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gain scrambles back to his feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gain has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fed's coach down at Arvins Bootcamp was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fed's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
