The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Elliason is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Elliason tries for a takedown but Rodriguez manages to get underhooks.
Elliason jumps guard but Rodriguez stands there with Elliason around his waist. Elliason gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Elliason fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rodriguez sprawls well initially but Elliason persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Elliason seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Rodriguez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
