Carruthers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sammy Swinger decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Swinger goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward.
Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Swinger.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sammy Swinger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oh but Swinger is tightening it up a little... Jones has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jones reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jones taps out! Nice BJJ there by Swinger!

Kid connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rio Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swinger gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Kid comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Swinger shoots in for a double leg but Kid sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Sammy Swinger has been cut.
Kid cracks Swinger on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Swinger falls backwards against the cage. Kid follows up with more strikes that drop Swinger to his knees. Kid keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Swinger! This one is all over!

Swinger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Swinger wants it to stay on the feet.
Swinger fires out a quick counter leg kick but Jumper just manages to avoid it.
Swinger swats away the attempt to clinch by Jumper.
Swinger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD#
Swinger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jumper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB#
