Oiyambe has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Shaw is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Oiyambe yanks on the arm and Shaw is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Oiyambe.

Shaw got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Doukas thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Shaw if he has to take too many more of those.

The referee agrees so we're back to the action!

DeJustice throws a half hearted mid kick.
DeJustice uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Shaw has time to react.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Shaw crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from DeJustice - the referee stops the clock and Shaw gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says DeJustice. Shaw manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
DeJustice slaps away a takedown attempt from Shaw, before circling back to the center of the mat.
DeJustice lets loose with a powerful body kick. Shaw will feel that in the morning.
