Cena shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cena takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cena tries to move into range but Kan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cena wants to clinch
and Kan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cena thows a leg kick but Kan checks it
and Kan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Good shot there by Kan.
Kan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cena doesn't seem bothered though.
Cena takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cena misses with a takedown attempt
and Kan counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kan darts in and out, connecting with a jab. #TD2#
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kan enables Cena to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#SU2#

Kan knocks out Cena with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Kan before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Kan picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Oori Kan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Kan throws a body shot but no joy.
Braga seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kan misses with a wild body shot.
A slow jab from Kan misses its intended target.
Kan loads up on a big right hand but Braga slips the punch.
Kan lands with a right hand.
Kan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Kan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Braga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

I was talking to Potter's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Kan is sitting in close to Potter's body. Potter has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kan is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kan is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Potter.
