Kuki is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Farrant.

and Farrant holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Farrant lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kuki backwards.

Farrant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kuki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Farrant stuns Kuki with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Are you kidding me?! Farrant ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Kuki clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Boyko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kuki tries to get to full guard but Boyko has control of the leg.
Kuki preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Kuki misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Kuki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boyko wants to take a breather but Kuki is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kuki is fighting off a takedown attempt but Boyko is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kuki to the mat. Kuki regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boyko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Boyko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boyko wants it to stay on the feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boyko should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Boyko has hold of Kuki's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kuki tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Boyko cranks the arm and Kuki screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kuki, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
