That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rey Hanibal. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Waki Sashi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Well Matsunaga has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sashi enables Soares to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sashi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sashi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sashi looking to control.
Sashi is pulling down on Soares's head. It's preventing any offense from Soares, at least for the moment.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
