Williams moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT2#
It looks like Kent Conner has been cut.
Conner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Conner looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Williams tries a head kick but it misses. #KD2#
Williams lands a left and a right that send Conner crashing to the mat, dazed. Williams thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Williams engages and cracks Conner with a massive lead left hook - Conner tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Williams is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jared Williams!

Conner walks into a left hand. #CUT#
It looks like Kent Conner has been cut.#CL2#
Conner darts in and clinches King up against the ropes.
Conner pushes off an throws an elbow but King leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Conner dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.
King has had enough of the clinch but Conner keeps him there for the moment.
Conner jumps guard but King stands there with Conner around his waist. Conner gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch. #BC2#
Conner breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King misses with a head kick. #KD#
King lands a big head kick that sends Conner tumbling to the mat! King takes a step backwards and waves Conner back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King throws a right and a left that Conner avoids nicely.

King throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
King connects with a nice cross there... Conner is looking wobbly and King recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Conner to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - King jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steve King!

Henry throws a head kick but Conner moves out of range. #TD2#
Conner shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Conner was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You can see the frustration on Henry's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Henry really is a fat lump.
Henry tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

What's Max going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Conner is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Max's shoulder. That is not cool.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Conner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
