Richard Kuklinski decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
The defeated Samoa Joe had this to say: 'Someone shot me in the middle of the fight, it is the only thing that makes sense. Braun Strowman is the future of this division and all of you will see this soon.'.

We've been told by Uberveem's head coaches at Kangaroo's MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Samoa Joe was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Alistaar Uberveem was interviewed post fight and said 'he took this one fair and square, we are now even at 1 a piece...Uberveem x Joe III needs to happen, and i promise it will end like the first fight did. i was simply off my game tonight.'.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Uberveem is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Joe flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Joe is out cold! Uberveem holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
