Shield throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Duarte throws a lazy right hand but Shield sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shield throws a right and a left that Duarte avoids nicely.
Shield shoots in but Duarte avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Shield checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Shield is aggressively charging in as Duarte backs up avoiding any damage. Duarte tosses out a jab and Shield runs right into it face first! Shield is out cold! Duarte dropped down on all fours and is barking in Shield's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Trumpsfeld has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Let's hope that Asinen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
