Lucas fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lucas needs to keep his hands up - Mercenarul had a free shot at his head there.
Lucas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mercenarul's coach down at Quick Fingers BEST BANG FOR BUCK Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mercenarul's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mercenarul works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Donk. Mercenarul catches Lucas right on the button with a cross.

Lucas shoots in and drives through. Mercenarul sprawls well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lucas has been working on his balance at Kung Fu Fighting Club ($299 entry fee), so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Mercenarul.

Mercenarul lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Lucas up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Mercenarul from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Lucas's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

The fight stays on the outside here - WhiteBoy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
WhiteBoy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
George Mercenarul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mercenarul keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Mercenarul has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.#KD2#
Mercenarul feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends WhiteBoy sprawling to the canvas! WhiteBoy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mercenarul finish him?! #ROC2#

WhiteBoy walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Mercenarul! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

On A Stick throws a combination. Mercenarul tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

On A Stick remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Dog Turd On A Stick took some time post fight to say the following; 'Great fight between two stars with remarkably similar builds. But the one thing you didn't count on was my IMMENSE RETARD STRENGTH!!!'.

Wkladam shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mercenarul napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wkladam trying to control the action but Mercenarul is working from the bottom.
Mercenarul wants to get back to his feet.
Wkladam tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wkladam just content to control the position.
Mercenarul really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wkladam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A punch lands to the side of Wkladam 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mercenarul looks to throw the jab but Wkladam is out of range.
George Mercenarul is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
BOOM! Mercenarul lands a beautiful left hook that drops Wkladam. Wkladam tries to recover but Mercenarul is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Wkladam lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Mercenarul drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Wong right on the button. Wong goes down! Mercenarul follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mercenarul gets the win via TKO!
