The fighters circling - Russo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Russo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Matos. Matos obviously looking to wear him down.
Russo has a takedown stuffed.
Matos wants to clinch up but Russo keeps it at a distance.
A little feinted left hand from Russo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Matos tried to score with a low kick but Russo checks it.
Russo is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Matos.#TD2#
Matos gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Russo wants to get back to his feet.
Matos seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well Matos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
