Ponce pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Rodd takes one on the chin but seems OK. #CL#
Ponce clinches up with Rodd and pushes him back against the cage.
Ponce lands an uppercut.
Rodd stalls.
Rodd is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ponce lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rodd backwards. #BC#
Ponce breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ponce throws a hook to the side of Rodd's head but Rodd sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rodd steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Rodd gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Ponce gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Rodd is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
