Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Destroyer napping and manages to drive through into side control!#SUB2#
Wilson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Destroyer looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wilson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Destroyer is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wilson lets go of the hold and Destroyer can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Merrill Wilson!

Destroyer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dominguez.
Destroyer looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Destroyer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dominguez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Destroyer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dominguez.
Dominguez misses with a takedown attempt - Destroyer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Destroyer throws a front kick that sends Dominguez stumbling back into the cage.
Dominguez on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Destroyer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
