Nakamoto's entrance music is Fight Pride!. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Katsuya Nakamoto has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Katsuya Nakamoto seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Katsuya Nakamoto! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Renato Gomes!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gomes jumps guard but Nakamoto stands there with Gomes around his waist. Gomes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Morrison shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nakamoto tries to kick Morrison off in order to stand up. Morrison Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. #SUB#
Morrison is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nakamoto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB#
Morrison is working to tighten his grip on Nakamoto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nakamoto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Morrison is really squeezing tight and eventually Nakamoto passes out! Morrison breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Santos fakes the leg kick and cracks Nakamoto in the body.

Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Santos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nakamoto takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Santos tries a head kick but it misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
