The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcallum misses with a wild body shot.
Potter lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Mcallum displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Potter.
Mcallum quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Potter tries for a takedown but Mcallum circles away easily

and Mcallum counters with a single leg into guard. Potter didn't expect that.
Mcallum throws a big elbow that misses.
Potter has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Sin City Discount Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcallum trying to control the position from guard on top but Potter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mcallum tries to stand but Potter is controlling from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Potter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Potter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcallum manages to get himself to full guard.

Mcallum is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Potter controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Mcallum is trying to push Potter off with his feet but Potter grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Mcallum's ankles and Mcallum is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!

Mcallum doesn't manage to clinch there - Baxter circles away.
Baxter lands a jab to the nose.
Baxter lands with an uppercut that bounces Mcallum off the cage and back into range.
Good standup being displayed there by Baxter as he connects with a hook.
Baxter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mcallum on the side of the head.
A combination from Baxter does no damage.
Baxter tries to bum rush Mcallum with a series of wild strikes but Mcallum uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Baxter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Baxter is pushing down on Mcallum's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcallum is fighting to maintain full guard but Baxter has managed to sneak the leg through.

Mcallum is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sudgon stands up over Mcallum, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mcallum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sudgon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jon McGregor will probably get the nod.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcallum is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Machida tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Machida takes a kick to the side of the head.
Mcallum tries a head kick but it misses.
Machida feints the counter takedown.
Mcallum scores with a nice head shot.
Mcallum plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Machida.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mcallum looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Machida drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Machida connects with a couple of short punches.

Machida keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mcallum's head.
Machida arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Mcallum's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
