Monroe pushes off an throws an elbow but Hanson leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Hanson has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Monroe takes a knee to the side of the body.

Hanson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hanson connects with a superb combination that knocks Monroe out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Hanson before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Monroe!

Wiley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Monroe sprawls well initially but Wiley persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Monroe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wiley scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wiley connects with a nice short shot to Monroe's temple.

Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Duece Monroe (ranked 6963 p4p, 578 weight class) and Rod Marchand (ranked 7507 p4p, 0 weight class). Marchand comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Daisy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rod Marchand is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors.
