Nambu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rodrigez wants to take the fight to the mat but Nambu manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Nambu wants to break free but Rodrigez has control.
Rodrigez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nambu prevents it.
Rodrigez wants to get back to striking at distance but Nambu won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Rodrigez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nambu pinned against the cage. Nambu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nambu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nambu throws a looping overhand right but Rodrigez ducks down to avoid it.
Rodrigez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nambu cracks Rodrigez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Rodrigez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nambu avoids it really well and circles away.

Rodrigez shoots in looking for a takedown. Nambu tries to sprawl out of it but Rodrigez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nambu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nambu was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

A little feinted left hand from Nambu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Nambu takes a swing at Mann's ribcage but misses.
Nambu showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mann.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mann steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Nambu is out on his feet! Mann sets himself and nearly takes Nambu's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Nambu leaves Watts with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Watts fails with a takedown attempt.
Watts shoots for a double leg takedown but Nambu sprawls well. He's pushed Watts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cristobal Watts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nambu feints a jab promting Watts to slip. Nambu then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Watts slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#CUT2#

Watts looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nambu is fending him off so far but Watts persists. Nope, Nambu circles away and we're back to standing.

Watts's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nambu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Watts scrambles back to his feet.
Nambu rushes Watts with punches - Watts moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Watts goes down! Nambu follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
