Mon cracks May with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mon lands a body shot.
The fighters circle, before Mon throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into May's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mon lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Steve Mon!

Mon moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mon fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Waters checks a low kick from Mon.
Mon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mon scores with a head kick. Waters tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.#CUT2#
It looks like Tyrone Waters has been cut.
Waters drops his hands momentarily and Mon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Waters wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mon has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Waters is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Nice defenses there by Mon.
Mon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Waters stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Waters appears to be looking for a big counter.

Mon throws a sloppy head kick
and Waters counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Bappa changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Mon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bappa feinted with a counter takedown.
Mon delivers a nice body kick.
Mon throws out a powerful jab.
Mon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bappa slips a jab and a cross from Mon.
Bappa takes a kick to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mon scores with a hook to the body. Bappa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mon is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Bappa like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Bappa from another fist facial!

Sakara fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sakara throws a nice looking combination but Mon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mon plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
A punch combination from Sakara misses.
Mon throws out a counter right but Sakara avoids it with no problem.
Sakara throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mon counters with a right hand to the body.
Sakara throws a left and a right that both miss
and Mon counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sakara throws a right hand that Mon ducks under and follows up with a left that Mon also avoids with ease.
Mon throws a head kick that Sakara semi-blocks.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Look low, kick high! Mon uses the oldest trick in the book to send Sakara tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Mon is absolutely delighted - when Sakara wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Mon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Knox lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mon at a distance.

Knox feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mon sprawling to the canvas! Mon rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Knox finish him?!

Oh Mon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Knox lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Mon head around and knocks him out cold! Knox hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

After winning the bout, Kappa Knox thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
