The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keyes with a jab.
Uzumaki gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Uzumaki drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Uzumaki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Uzumaki seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Keyes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uzumaki on the ground.

Uzumaki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uzumaki drops back, looking for a kneebar! Keyes looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Keyes looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Keyes!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Keyes tries to stand but Uzumaki is controlling his head.
You can see the frustration on Uzumaki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Uzumaki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Uzumaki has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Keyes. Oh but Uzumaki has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Keyes goes limp - he's gone! Uzumaki jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Uzumaki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stanton's guard.
Stanton keeping moving, preventing Uzumaki from controlling successfully.
Stanton really is a fat lump.

Uzumaki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stanton manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Uzumaki has Stanton in his guard.

Uzumaki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stanton defends well.
Stanton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Uzumaki has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stanton doesn't defend quickly enough and Uzumaki has managed to lock this one up! Can Stanton escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Uzumaki on a fantastic submission victory.
