Laney comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cant be touched kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lamchida has Laney up against the cage in a clinch.

Lamchida sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Laney moves in looking to clinch but Lamchida pushes him off.
Lamchida shoots in looking for a takedown but Laney manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lamchida's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lamchida closes this distance looking for a takedown but Laney circles away.
Laney misses with a right hand
and Lamchida makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lamchida closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Laney stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Laney wants it to stay on the feet.
Lamchida is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Laney can do to turn this around?

As Laney looks to move away, Lamchida throws a big counter combo but Laney just gets out of the way.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Laney.
As Laney tries to get set, Lamchida tries to push him back and clinch up but Laney manages to avoid the attempt.

Lamchida lands a nice shot to the body.

Lamchida feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Laney postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Laney got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lamchida has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Laney has managed to get both his arms back between Lamchida's legs - danger averted.
Laney wants to pass the guard but Lamchida is keeping the position.
Laney wants to get up but he can't break Lamchida's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

You can see the frustration on Lamchida's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lamchida manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Lamchida lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Laney is trying to stand up here but Lamchida is controlling him well.
Lamchida is controlling the pace.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lamchida, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
