Iwamura throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Iwamura finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Silva is adopting a defensive guard.
Iwamura is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. #T1##SUB2#
Iwamura stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Silva throws up his legs and catches Iwamura in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Iwamura tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Silva! That came out of nowhere!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Iwamura.
Iwamura shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miller sprawls well. Miller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Iwamura gets slowly back to his feet.

Ivan Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryota Iwamura.

Iwamura is looking to cinch up a triangle. Miller throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Iwamura's body to avoid the submission. Iwamura has instead reached around Miller's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Iwamura arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
