We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bunt is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Urlich is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Urlich flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bunt anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Urlich and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bunt slips an arm under Urlich chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bunt has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bunt is squeezing on Urlich like an anaconda would it's prey. Urlich fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Koskinen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Urlich is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Koskinen yanks on the arm and Urlich is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Koskinen.

Bowen swats away the attempt to clinch by Urlich.
Urlich looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Urlich wants to clinch up but Bowen keeps it at a distance.
As Urlich tries to get set, Bowen tries to push him back and clinch up but Urlich manages to avoid the attempt.
Urlich is looking to clinch.
Bowen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bowen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Urlich feints and then cracks Bowen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bowen down.

Sandoval has hold of Urlich's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Urlich seems comfortable defending it but Sandoval has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Urlich is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Urlich is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sandoval couldn't care less - he's delighted!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Urlich has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Urlich is sitting in close to Herring's body. Herring has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Urlich is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Urlich is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Herring.
