Abreu dives in for a single leg takedown but Carver sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Carver displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Abreu.
A little feinted left hand from Carver on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Abreu slips under a jab.
Carver throws a hook to the side of Abreu's head but Abreu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Abreu tries to clinch up but Carver circles away and keeps his distance.
Carver stuffs the takedown.

Carver ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abreu moves away.
Abreu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Abreu has hold of Carver's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carver manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Abreu is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Carver has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Carver!

T Bone Carver opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see. |
