Coming from a famous boxing family, "JR" was always sick as a child. He started training as a way to stay fit and although he is small in size, he makes up for it with his heart. Lack of competition in Bantamweight KT meant JR had to fight bigger opponents. After a run in KT he started cross-training to fight in his more natural Bantamweight in MMA. |
