Howard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Poulsen's waist but Poulsen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Howard off to one side.
Howard with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Poulsen to score with a decent uppercut.
Howard shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Poulsen pinned against the cage. Poulsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Howard tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Poulsen defends well and Howard ends up having to push Poulsen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Poulsen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Vang Poulsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwayne Howard.

Howard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Poulsen throws a right and a left that both miss.

Poulsen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Howard walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Poulsen swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jones turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kruger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Kruger shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Kruger throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kruger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones is looking to wear down Kruger with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
