Glavata gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Meridius gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Glavata is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Souza slips under a jab from Alves.
Alves tried to score with a low kick but Souza checks it.
Souza half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Alves.
Souza takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Alves works the jab nicely.

It looks like Gabriel Souza has been cut.
Alves lands the left hand.
Souza gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Souza throws a leg kick that is checked
and Alves counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That kick from Alves tenderised Souza's leg. Souza is trying to keep his angry face on.
