As Manchu backs off Ank throws a huge counter combo but Manchu manages to avoid it all.
Ank defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Manchu.
Despite the aggression on Ank's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Rune Ankjrll decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Anki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bogart moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bogart drops down looking for a counter takedown but Anki sprawls and moves away.
Anki has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bogart is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Bogart looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Bogart slips a straight right by Anki.
We've been told by Bogart's head coaches at Cozad Amsterdam that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bogart takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Anki works over Bogart's head and body with a nice combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

After the fight, Rune Anki was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things.
