A slapping leg kick lands for Sumner.
Sumner tries to clinch there but Smith circles away.
Nice uppercut there from Sumner.
Sumner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sumner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smith throws out the jab.
Sumner missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sumner lands a nice hook to Abcde's body. Abcde takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Abcde tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sumner slips a straight right by Abcde.
Abcde takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Abcde lands a body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sumner throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Abcde stumbling backwards into the cage! Abcde bounces back off the cage towards Sumner, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Sumner lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Sumner celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Wayne Barret really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that RAGS of a RONIN logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chester Greenburg.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
