Mcgregor is looking to take a break and control but Krupok is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Krupok takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Krupok is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Mcgregor is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krupok's coach down at Cozad MMA Las Vegas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Krupok's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.#T2#

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mcgregor shoots in and drives through. Krupok sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conor Mcgregor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Krupok throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Mcgregor's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Krupok dives in looking to finish as Mcgregor flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Krupok's strikes! Krupok is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Mcgregor's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Mcgregor was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ryan rushes Mcgregor and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ryan is pushing Mcgregor up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. #TD2#
Mcgregor jumps guard and drags Ryan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. #SUB#
Ryan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mcgregor throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Mcgregor wants to sweep here but Ryan controlling him for the moment.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Erasmo Ryan.
