Akbar scores with a body shot.
Akbar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Funesta tries to clinch up but Akbar circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown attempt by Funesta or perhaps it was just good defense by Akbar, which made it look bad.
Funesta tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Akbar swivels and escapes.
Akbar throws a series of punches but Funesta avoids them all with ease. #TD#
Funesta shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Akbar's guard.

A big right followed by a crushing left from Akbar knocks Funesta out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!

Funesta shoots in looking for a takedown. Eskot tries to sprawl out of it but Funesta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eskot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
