Mcgregor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kirby's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB#
Kirby working for a triangle but Mcgregor defends it easily.
Kirby wants to stand and escape but Mcgregor is having none of it.
Mcgregor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kirby is looking to cinch up a triangle. Mcgregor throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kirby's body to avoid the submission. Kirby has instead reached around Mcgregor's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kirby arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Rrrr tries to land a front kick but Stark steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A quick step to the side and Stark tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.#TD#
Stark closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rrrr quickly recovers to half guard.#SUB#
Stark is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rrrr is just riding it out for now. Stark eventually gives up the hold.
