Bridge is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Figueroa's half guard.
Figueroa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bridge looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bridge wants to pass the guard but Figueroa is defending well.
Figueroa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bridge's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bridge's back!
Bridge tries to escape but Figueroa has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Figueroa is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Figueroa gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Figueroa gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Figueroa apologises and we restart here on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bridge has momentary wrist control but Figueroa slips an elbow through the middle.
Figueroa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bridge's guard.
Bridge has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Figueroa is working away from the top position though.
Figueroa lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Figueroa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Figueroa connects with a nice short shot to Bridge's temple.
