Strongo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Strongo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T1#

CC shoots in looking for a takedown but Bonifacio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing CC's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Bonifacio cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bonifacio leaves CC with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for AA CC. That's going to take a lot out of him.
CC tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bonifacio defends well and CC ends up having to push Bonifacio into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
CC will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
AA CC seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sloppy strikes from Manalo. Those never looked like landing.
Starrett looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
