That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stacy Molina. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Stacy Molina has been cut.
Molina jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Monark Dyn walks away with a smile on his face. Molina gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #T1#
Molina dives in and grabs Monark Dyn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Monark Dyn pushes down on Molina's head and hops out.
Monark Dyn is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Monark Dyn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Monark Dyn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Monark Dyn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Molina uses from the top position.
Molina is fighting to break Monark Dyn's control of his arms but Monark Dyn is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Molina will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Monark Dyn is on top in guard.
