Rodrigues shoots in but no luck this time.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alves sprawls well. Alves wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alves as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Romulo Rodrigues. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rodrigues looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alves is fending him off so far but Rodrigues persists. Nope, Alves circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close round but I would say that Romulo Rodrigues will probably get the nod.

Rodrigues lands with a kick to the temple. Alves shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CL#

Rodrigues throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Alves blocks it with crossed arms.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alves wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Rodrigues tries to pull guard but Alves holds him up against the cage and eventually Rodrigues drops back down to his feet.
Rodrigues can't find room to land a body shot as Alves controls the action.
And that's the end of the fight!
Romulo Rodrigues showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Rodrigues has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Romulo Rodrigues was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
