The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Credible rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Parrell counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Parrell.

Parrell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Parrell missing with a left hand there. Credible was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Credible cracks Parrell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Credible looks to land a right hand but Parrell moved out of range.
Nice cross by Credible.
Parrell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Credible counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Credible connects with a body shot that sends Parrell's belly button to the back.
Parrell misses with an uppercut
and Credible counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Parrell throws a big shot that misses.
Credible definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Credible takes a swing at Parrell's ribcage but misses.
Parrell throws out a loose jab but Credible uses good head movement to avoid it.

and before Parrell can reset, Credible rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Parrell is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!
Credible connects with a body shot that sends Parrell's belly button to the back.
Nice uppercut lands for Credible. That snapped Parrell's head back.
Credible scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Parrell looks winded!

Parrell is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Good exchange - Credible coming out on top.

Credible cracks Parrell with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Parrell is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Parrell is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

Credible fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parrell manages to avoid it.
Parrell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Credible stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Parrell is still on wobbly legs! Can Credible finish him?
Parrell doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Parrell walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Silva rushes Routh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Routh has Silva pressed against the cage, preventing Silva from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Routh keeps control of Silva as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Routh breaks from the clinch.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Routh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Routh misses with a head kick.
Silva takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Welington Silva has been cut.
Silva tries to clinch up.
Routh throws a head kick that misses.

Silva fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Routh, pushing him back against the cage.

Routh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Routh throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Silva.
Routh circles away from the clinch attempt
and as Silva loses concentration momentarily, Routh counters with a picture perfect head kick! Silva goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Oh Foster is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cory Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Routh! Foster is out on his feet! Routh rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Foster is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Foster is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
