Novak throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Figueroa was covering up waiting for the punch and Novak finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Figueroa is looking to stand back up but Novak counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Figueroa.
Novak stalling.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#ES#

Novak remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Novak is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Figueroa can't fight it off and eventually Novak manages to take the fight to the floor. Figueroa looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Novak isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Figueroa stacks Novak on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Figueroa!#ES2#
Novak sneaks out the side door and pushes Figueroa away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Well Novak has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Doyle closes the distance looking for a takedown. Frost stuffs it but Doyle still has hold of him. Doyle picks Frost up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Doyle slams Frost to the floor and that's really hurt Frost - he doesn't know where he is! Doyle throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
