Krieg holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Couture takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Acre is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Couture moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Kirby unleashes a big counter combination but Thrower bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kirby fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Thrower.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kirby has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Axe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pow's waist but Pow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Axe off to one side.

As Thrower backs off Ram throws a huge counter combo but Thrower manages to avoid it all.

Hitta walks straight into a right hand from Moon - that's dropped him! Moon jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hitta from any more punishment! Hitta complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Van Rooy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Thrower swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Van Rooy fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Thrower to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Thrower looks to clinch but Van Rooy throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Thrower taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
