Curlee is looking to stand up but Dunlap isn't so interested in that idea.
Curlee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dunlap.
Dunlap throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Curlee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dunlap is one step ahead there. #SUB2#
Curlee is looking for a triangle but Dunlap pushes his legs off easily.
Dunlap is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Curlee controls Dunlap momentarily but Dunlap frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dunlap is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Curlee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dunlap's waist but Dunlap gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Curlee off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB#
Dunlap has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Curlee is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dunlap.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Curlee cracks Dunlap with a big right hand but Dunlap just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Curlee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dunlap, who protects the arm well.
Dunlap tries to bench press Curlee off him but Curlee keeps the position.
Desmond Dunlap overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

It looks like Desmond Dunlap has been cut.
Dunlap is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Curlee doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Dunlap crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Dunlap's bad books for that mishap!
