Hewitt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brodie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Brodie is trying to buck Hewitt off.
Hewitt wants to stand but Brodie is controlling his arm.
Brodie tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Hewitt blocks the strikes from Brodie.
Brodie striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Brodie wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brodie can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brodie reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Brodie taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hewitt!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dwayne is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Punchy screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Platanares has Strait pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Platanares pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Strait tumbling to the mat - Platanares dives into Strait's guard.

Strait has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Platanares should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Strait has tightened it up now! Platanares should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Scott Strait decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Aniceto Platanares stepped up to the mic, saying 'I had an injured rectum so wasn't 100% for this fight. I'll be back stronger'.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tramp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
