Crute swats away the attempt to clinch by Daniels.
Daniels is looking to clinch but Crute is avoiding it.
Daniels really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Daniels does no damage.
Daniels is breathing heavily.
Daniels tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Crute manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Crute lands a nice hook to Daniels's body. Daniels takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Crute throws out a powerful jab.
Daniels throws a head kick but Crute moves out of range.
Crute fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Daniels on the side of the head.
Daniels misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Daniels looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Daniels walks into a stiff left hand from Crute.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Crute has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A relieved looking Bob Crute thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dumile has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silva finds it's way round the side to connect with Dumile's head.

Dumile feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Diego dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dakila. That did some damage!
Dakila dives in and grabs Diego's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diego pushes down on Dakila's head and hops out.

Diego drops Dakila with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dakila looks back up at him and smiles so Diego waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
