Shields shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daranbolt defends it nicely.
Daranbolt feints a jab promting Shields to slip. Daranbolt then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shields slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Daranbolt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Daranbolt jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Shields takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Daranbolt lands a slapping body shot.
Shields fails with the takedown
and Daranbolt counters with a lovely straight right hand!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daranbolt stuns Shields with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Daranbolt.
Daranbolt feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Shields's calf.
