Horrible takedown attempt by Sanchez or perhaps it was just good defense by Pummel , which made it look bad.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pummel sprawls well. Pummel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet.
Pummel throws a series of strikes that have Sanchez backpedaling.

It looks like Gabe Sanchez has been cut.
Pummel throws out a leg kick but Sanchez moves out of range and Pummel only half commits.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
