Corneille has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Corneille connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Smith some visible discomfort.
The referee asks Corneille politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Corneille prefers to stall for the moment though.

It looked like Jee was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tyson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Jee is looking to close the distance but Tyson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Jee crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Jee is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Corneille feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
