Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cloud Strife and Zyd Xyd. Strife comes to the cage accompanied by Let It Go. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Xyd jumps guard but Strife stands there with Xyd around his waist. Xyd gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Xyd scores with a nice short uppercut.
Xyd tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Strife tries a body shot but Xyd blocks it.

Xyd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Strife looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Strife rushes Xyd and presses him up against the cage.

Xyd has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Strife uses from the top position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Xyd in particular looking to stall.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irvine Kinneas and Rob Pomper. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pomper's choice of entrance music: Cotten eye joe. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Steel has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Brophy scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Steel to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Brophy away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Steel got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

Strife throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Deluxe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Deluxe fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Strife catches Deluxe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
