Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Itse Perkele (ranked 11 p4p, 1 weight class) and DJ Maximus (ranked 71 p4p, 6 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that DJ Maximus was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Maximus's coach down at IMMA Gym of Elite ASS was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Maximus's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Maximus misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Maximus loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Perkele scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Maximus land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Maximus stands and salutes the crowd.

DJ Maximus really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Aspire Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Romero is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Romero has his foot on Huber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Huber works his way back into a safe position though.
