GAMMA is breaking our own records on a monthly basis, here are some of those we broke in the past week or so.
13 top 100 p4p ranked fighters is a new GAMMA record.
23 in the top 200 p4p is also a new record
72 in the top 1000 p4p is a new record.
Jt Colossus is now the all time KO leader
25 KOs in total. Raz Matazz technically has 24 with 3 outside of GAMMA during super fights, but in fights inside of GAMMA, Jt is now the all time leader with 25. At 44y of age it is suspect if Jt can surpass that all time record, but he is still going strong and ranked inside the top 400 p4p even at his age, so god knows if he will make it.
Hall of Famer returns
GAMMA hall of famer Fidel Duberry (125586) is back for a few cameo fights. He retired from the sport at 29y while under Matt Cave management and was inducted to our HOF. He made a comeback under his new manager Scott Davies after being in retirement for almost 2 years. His first fight was a KO loss to future hall of famer Willy Stoppers and could be retiring for good very soon. It was nice to see him back in the GAMMA cage, even if it was in a cameo role.
Willy Stoppers moving down to 205lbs
Willy was a 310lbs killing machine for most of his career, but in his recent win over Fidel Looked much more trimmed down at 239lbs. After asking him about his plans for the future Willy said he is moving down to 205lbs with the main reasoning being his reach. He was always undersized against the big strikers at 265lbs at just 187, so he wants to take his KO power and height down to were it belongs. At 40y old though it is uncertain if he can be a factor, but after recently winning the AD title, nobody can take it away from him for trying.
Krystian Wojnasiewicz regains his title
It was looking kind of hopeless for Krystian after losing 2 in a row against his nemesis Fernando Prado, however 2 wins later, he was into the title picture again, this time against a new opponent Nylerhotep Constantine, which recently had beaten Prado for the title. The result? Krystian's 3rd KO win in a row. Pawel Ufcowski (Krystian's manager) is saying that he is probably past his best, but i am not sure he agrees to that and is looking very good late in his career. Prado has since moved down to 145lbs which is his natural weight class, so Krystian's first title defense will be against Josiah Bartlet.
Yorick Brown rise at 205lbs
Yorick was known as a 265lbs fighter for most of his career, but has moved down to 205lbs and is 6-1 since going there. He has put himself into the title picture against Gunnar Gustavsson, a fighter which his co-teamate Arthur Curry was recently beaten 2x and retired shortly after, so i am sure he is dieing to get revenge in this fight.
