In the co-main event, we have two gladiators going at it in Wesley Correira and Brutus Leagatius! You know those two want to knock each other's heads off. The 145 champ, Ephram Urani, defends his belt against Jackson Bishop, the #1 contender. Finn The Human goes down a weight to face Osiris Egyptian, and much more! Stay tuned for a stacked card full of headturning fights!
205 lbs. (#1 in 185) Mick Murphy vs #4 Lincon Samuals
Mick "Money Weight" Murphy, a champion in every organization he fights in and former EFA champ, faces off against Lincon "The Sink" Samuals, an undefeated fighter who has been demolishing the competition in the 205 division since his debut on EFA 42. "Money Weight" is a veteran with an extensive record. Before making it to EFA, he was on an incredible 14 fight win streak. His most recent fight, Murphy lost his title to Cedric Lancaster in EFA 66. Now, the multi-org champ will look to get back into the title discussion by taking on Samuals. Murphy outmatches him on paper, but he better not sleep on this undefeated KO artist, or he will really sleep. Now that's a main event!
265 lbs. #1 Wesley Correira vs #7 Brutus Leagatius
Wesley "Cabbage" Correira and Brutus Leagatius occupy the co-main event, tonight. Correira, a former EFA champion and an elite rounded fighter, lost his title in his most recent fight against Norman Stebson on EFA 66. The man in his way, Leagatius, has only fought top competitors in the organization and earned his shot at the former champ by defeating Ghost Lightning on the EFA 69 card. On paper, this fight goes to "Cabbage", but Leagatius didn't get to where he is by having his hand held.
145 lbs. (Champ) Ephram Urani vs #1 Jackson Bishop
Ephram Urani, the 145 champ defends his title for the second time against Jackson "Nightmare" Bishop,a two time FFA champion, who stunned in his debut fight by making Luis Gonzales tap out from his onslaught of strikes in the second round. The champion is greatly well rounded, but Jackson is a monster with the ability to knockout his opponents, or make them tap to a hold or to strikes. This title fight will be a bloodbath. Can't wait!
155 lbs. Finn The Human vs #1 Osiris Egyptian
Finn The Human is back since his impressive debut in EFA against the 170 champion, Stadin Kingi. Going all five rounds with Kingi is no easy feat, and due to his unanimous defeat, he has decided to go down to lightweight and face Osiris Egyptian, the #1 contender. Egyptian, a former 155 champ, is no easy fight either which really makes you respect The Human for his hunger, and he is the perfect test to see if The Human deserves a shot against Elgin Turner, the current 155 champion. Get ready for a damn war!
155 lbs. Jallu Pesonen vs #8 Samuel Cooke
Jallu Pesonen debuted in EFA just recently, and pulled off an impressive Submission of the Night performance against Dakota Bohi. Tonight, he faces Samuel Cooke, the #8 ranked lightweight who has been at EFA since EFA 3, and a former EFA lightweight champion back in the day. Cooke is a hardcore veteran who seems to enjoy destroying his opponents in the early rounds with knockouts and submissions. Expect this fight to burn bright and quick.
170 lbs. #5 Darryl Rose vs DJ Strawberry
This one will be an interesting one on the undercard. There might be some bad blood between these two. DJ Strawberry's manager sent a little trash talk Darryl Rose's way, without reply. Rose might be taking the silent but deadly route which would be smart against a powerful fighter like Strawberry. Rose has been undefeated since arriving at EFA with 7 wins straight. That seems like incentive for Strawberry to fight, more than a fear factor. Either way it goes down, surely it is going to be insanity.
170 lbs. Clive Garret vs #3 Alvaro Ortaga
After a loss to Sam Assad, Alvaro "El Tigre" Ortaga looks to make his comeback quick against "Diving" Clive Garret who hasn't won a single fight in EFA since his debut back in EFA 17. The #3 ranked fighter could be in serious trouble if he can not keep up with the striking game, and could lead to a huge upset.
170 lbs. #4 Dustin Assad vs Damian Anderson
Dustin "The Duke" Assad goes up against Damian Anderson. Both men have a two win lead and both men will do whatever it takes to get that third!
170 lbs. Riley Johnson vs Bashaad Al Hammad
Riley Johnson debuts his first ever MMA fight, tonight, against Bashaad Al Hammad. Johnson had a nice kickboxing stint before coming onto EFA, fighting men much bigger than him and dropping them with his heavy hands. Al Hammad is a skilled grappler with only two fights in the organization currently, against the same man. This fight will not end in a decision.
